 Here at Grow a Tree, we dream of educating as many kids about the importance of trees as possible. Just like the trees we’re planting, the list of schools we’ve visited is growing. With an approach so simple, its no wonder why. We visit the schools with everything they need to get “growing”: Manure, seeds and
Grow bags. After a brief lesson on the trees and their importance, the fun starts.
Each kid picks a tree, grabs a bag, fills it with manure and plants their very own tree.
Each kid is encouraged to give their tree a name to further entrench their commitment to
growing trees.These Kid Packs will remain in their black bags for the nurturing period of one year.
After which, we encourage the school to have the kids plant their trees somewhere
On the school premises. Kids revel in this kind of dirty work and is a great bonding experience for them and their educators.
